I found this forum through Google. I am intrigued with hair loss and hoping it doesn't happen to me. I'm a huge fan of the Montréal Canadiens and before anyone asks, the person in my picture is fellow Hab Maxim Lapierre.
Welcome from a former Montréaler and a Habs fan.

OK, not to be unwelcoming, but isn't that a bit like a teetotaler going to AA?

I'm not saying I'm immune to it. I don't have my childhood hairline anymore and hair loss does run in my family. The issue is whether or not I'll lose anything on top.
My forehead got higher YEARS before my Friar Tuck started to spread. But that's just me.
I was thinking ........what a good looking guy. Then you say it's not you, how about a picture of the " real you ". Welcome to the site and join in at any time.
I was right the first time, good looking guy.
he's almost shaved on top
Yeah, the real you is a good place to start.

Besides, there are a number of guys on this site that are BBC (Bald By Choice).
Have you ever tossed that idea around?

So, you can try it and see if you like it!

This forum isn't just for the follically challenged

Oh, and a big welcome too!!!
For about a year, I was getting my head buzzed with a 0 every 2 weeks. I'm guessing my hairline matured during that time period at some point. For my relatives that did lose their hair, they thinned early. I have a bit of a peak, but I think I lost max 1/4" off my hairline. It's not too bad. If it remains like that, I'll be happy.
I've never actually shaved it with a razor. When I did have it that short, I got a lot of Channing Tatum comparisons, so I guess that's a good thing.
A "0" every 2 weeks was my routine in the Army for many years.
