Who is your favorite NFL team and why?
It was nice to see my home town Houston Texans take it to the Colts today for only the 2nd time in franchise history (2-15). Since the road to winning the division runs through Indy it was a great way to start the season. I'm sure the Colts will be looking for some payback when the two teams meet up again later this year on MNF.

Raiders.
I was born in Oakland. Our family had season tix before they moved to LA. I considered getting season tix again once they returned in 1995, but passed. I still go to a game or two a year, despite their current downturn. Now that they ended the JaMarcus Russell experiment (or as I called him "The Round Mound of Fourth Down"), I see better times ahead (week 1 notwithstanding).
Come to the Dark Side.....Raider Nation.

I'm a vikings fan, livin only a few hours from minneapolis. Was kinda bummed that we cant have an undefeted season.. but eh, one game doesn't reflect the whole season. NO might be the defending champs, but vikings are the soon-to-be champs.

Da Bears. Took down an easy win in week 1

that's all I have to say. Although we have about 2 years left and half our team will be in retirement

Hey SEAN 25 are you kidding me that the bears took down an easy win? The lions beat them save for a ridiculous call on obvious t.d.. By the way the lions did it without their no.1 qb. The bears look to be an average team at best and that is being generous. So the bears should enjoy this''EASY'' win.

Bears fan since childhood in the Wrigley Field/Abe Gibron days. According to everything I've seen/read the rule was applied correctly on the Calvin Johnson "un-catch", but God, what a crap rule. It sure looked like a catch to me.
IMO, it made it a cheap win and I'd almost rather see an honest and hard fought loss. It does NOT bode well for the remainder of the season. This type of win does not bring respect.
Cheap.

It appears we have our first QB controversy of the year brewing in Philadelphia. Thats a shame to me since I was really pulling for the kid from UH to do good things this year.
Tough break for the GB Packers with the Ryan Grant injury. The load on Aaron Rodgers shoulders just got a bit heavier.
The Texans will try to do this coming Sunday what the other team from Texas couldn't do this past Sunday.
What are we to make out of the Chiefs win on Monday night? Maybe they do have 10 wins and a division title in them this year.
