It was a sad day for the whole world. Many of your neighbors up here, north of the border, will pause to remember with you.

Please....
take a few moments to remember those that perished that day.
take a few moments to tell your wife and children you love them.
take a few moments to teach your children about the horror of that day.
take a few moments to Pray that we put an end to this threat for good.

As far as our Canadian brothers and sisters are concerned, I will always remember how the Canadian embassy folks smuggled out Americans posing as Canadians during the Iranian Hostage Crisis of the late seventies. They put their lives on the line for us.

Very sad day. Sometimes you wonder how some people could have the
heart to commit such crimes

9-11 will be, to our generation, what Pearl Harbor was to our parents and grandparents. We'll always remember every detail of the day.

I was in my 11th grade Georgia History class when our AFROTC Colonel came in our class and said, "Turn on the TV. A plane just flew into the World Trade Center." We turned on the news just in time to see the second plane hit in a live broadcast. It was very surreal. For the rest of the day most of the students at the school got angry if any of the teachers tried to teach, and we demanded that we see what was happening.
By lunch, my friends and I were contemplating forming a local militia. We didn't know what was next. Scary day.

This was not the beginning and we are nowhere near the end. It remains to be seen if we as a nation and a people truly have what it takes to persevere. God Bless America.

Very true, and I was just thinking about this a few days ago. As someone who was there that day, it's a part of me, and the memory will always be there. We need to keep the younger generations aware of what our enemies will do to try and hurt us as Americans. Never forget.
I agree with TGB1 and Timmer in saying we are nowhere near the end, but we are strong and will persevere.
God Bless America. My thoughts and prayers to all the families and friends who experienced loss that day.
