Another great nugget of truth:
Never under any circumstances should you attempt the comb-over. No matter what style you go with, never, ever use a comb-over. Oh, and for the love of Pete, do not fall under the delusion that having a ponytail in the back will compensate for baldness on top. Hair math just doesn’t work that way.

Good one bear, this just about sums it up, imo.
Hair math just doesn't work is one of the funniest things I have ever heard......AWESOME!
I don't know that I could recommend the article, it starts ok, but he gets cold feet and wobbly knees right after the buzz cut! Really, What is the Roger Sterling, but a Hamilton II w/ a whole lot of hairspray--IMO it's the first step on the road to combover and I know whereof I speak, I traveled that lonesome road--it sucks. The Shaggy layers -- piss off, looks ragged and in sun, frankly bald. Need I comment on the so-called "Power Donut?" That's a horseshoe, hairy toiletseat, Bozo ring and has no redeeming social value. This guy needs to decide whether he's for sly or wimping out--not a well reasoned piece, but it's only my opinion.
I can understand how personal experience and opinions about some of the hair options presented in this article might disagree with some readers opinions.
What I enjoyed about the article is general information provided. Lets face it being Sly is not for everyone, although it may become the eventual choice by many as they travel down the road of hair loss. One point to consider is that the blogger that wrote the article consulted with Tony England, a barber that has spent a lifetime cutting hair and makes his income from cutting hair, so he is not going to suggest that every guy with MPB go Sly. I'm sure he has encountered many clients that wanted to try what would work best for them without taking the ultimate plunge into Slyness, regardless of whether or not going sly would look better.
I personally like the Clean Shaven, Buzz Cut, and Short Caesar Cut options. One would have to have the right amount of hair left to pull off the Buzz Cut, and Short Caesar Cut.
I totally agree with the how ridiculous the "Power Donut" is. If you are down to a power donut, horseshoe or whatever else you want to call it, going Sly is the only option. IMHO
Good article, and I would hope that everyone that was thinning did not shave it .Everybody would be walking around bald and I'm not infavor of that.
