Hey guys, with the adoption of smart phones like the iPhone and Android happening so rapidly, I'm looking at improving SBG by making it more phone friendly. Please help me out by letting me know the type of phone that you have so that I know where to start.
Thanks!

I still use a "Razor" phone. I'm upgrading soon but not to a smart phone.

I have a BB from my company on ATT and a non-smart LG phone w/ Verizon. Note regarding connections: reliability of ATT BB sucks, Verizon is tops.

I use a Nokia E63 (Symbian) because it has a "real" QWERTZ keyboard.

I have a TRAC Fone (yes you read it coorectly) that I carry for emergencies. I'm not much of a phone talker and I refuse to get caught up in the "everybody can reach you all of the time" lifestyle.

I had a blackberry from my work, but didn't like it. Too limited (company policy also prevented certain functionalities).
Recently I (privately) bought an iPhone and am totally hooked!!
Much more then a phone: you read you emails, surf the net, have litterally thousands of different application for it. E.g.:facebook, ebay, amazon, the local weather, local TV guide, music / video player (it's a full iPod as well), local traffic jams, camera, google earth, skype, bookreader.....etc. etc.
It's really much more then just a phone...in fact it's a pocket-size PC.
Bottom line: I already couldn't live without it :-)

Blackberry....I always thought texting sucked til I had to answer the phone 100 times a day from my wife--texting is the greatest thing since sliced bread!! I also enjoy getting texts for my workload. The BB internet is easy for me--get the weather radar in an instant which is NEEDED here in Mississippi. The BB has instant BB messaging, which is OK...did I mention beer tastes a LOT better since I went SLY??

I've got a Samsung with touch screen and slide out keyboard... I can't afford an additional $30.00 a month on top of the $39.00 a month I already pay to have an iPhone though I'd love to have one!

This is an interesting article on BB's, iPhones & Droids. There's definately a fight on for market preeminence.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38635041/ns/technology_and_science-wireless/
Definetly agree with that article. I'm from south dakota and theres practiclly no AT&T coverage around here. So while ton's and tons of people wanted an iphone we werent able to have one because we all had verizon. Thats where the droid comes in. Seeing as how verizon holds the most market share in the U.S. (pretty sure not positive) it didn't make since for apple to limit themselves to AT&t.
