eyebrows?

Does anybody shave their eyebrows and even if you don't what are your thoughts on it.

I am being encouraged to shave my eyebrows. Though the idea is
somewhat exciting I am fearful about proceeding. Interested in
feedback from others who have done it. How do you like the look? How
did others react to your shaved brows? Did you regret doing it or feel
it was a good choice? Appreciate you comments.

I've heard that once the eyebrows are shaved they can take forever (and maybe even longer-LOL) to grow back!!

Besides, take into consideration the people who are suggesting this to you... if you take their advice and "blade the brows", they may then respond to you by saying.."WTF.. OMG...You took me serious?...OMG...I was only kidding when I suggested that to ya', man.."  :*))

But if you are still contemplating as to how you would actually look to other people , I strongly suggest taking a photo of yourself, upload your pic into your computer, then go into the edit/retouch phase and "blade the brows" there. It's a much safer way to undergo the experiment.

Besides, the decision to shave 'brows is very different as compared to the making the decision to go sly and should NOT be taken lightly!! It's one of those type decisions that regret can sink in directly behind reality...  B@n%

I have one of those "wave to as you drive by, but don't really associate with type" sly neighbors (LOL- if you can follow all that) who did just that-shaved off his eyebrows recently, and now he resembles UNCLE FESTER from The Addams Family!

No matter his expression, it always looks as if his eyes are bulging out of his head!!  :o

But then again, he seems to "live outside the box" in everything he does, and he's quite happy with his new look!!

IMO, I'd say keep the brow, bro, and save the shave for ye' ol' noggin, but ultimately, you're the one who's in control and has the final decision!!

Have a good one, guys -

Or ...  he can just refer back to the pictures he took when he shaved his brows two years ago.   >:D

Not to further belabor a discussion that's already in another thread, but...

Eyebrows only take about 3-4 weeks to grow back, but your mileage may vary.

How do I know?  I've shaved them off back in May, kept them that way until beginning of June, and then let them grow back in time for my high school reunion in ealy July.  Now that that's past, I'm back to shaving em!  8)

I just shaved off my brows as well as having my head tweezed. There is not a lot of difference between having brows (I didn't have much hair on them) & not having them. I will keep them shaved throughout summer & then let them grow back in for winter.

When I was deployed two years ago, the Iraqi barbers would shape mine up with some thread and they would clipper them down....they did a nice job but I only had that done once a month. Back in the states I would have them clippered down at the barbershop, but I haven't touched my eyebrows since March.

I think I look much better with eyebrows, and think most bald guys look better with eyebrows as well (they shape your face). Each to his own...I'm not here to judge!

I look like I've got cancer with no eyebrows. Definitely not a good look for me.

The first barber who shaved my head asked me if I wanted my brows off also.  I kept them but since than I got the dark rimmed glasses.  Think maybe the glasses would look better if I went browless.  I constantly have to get my eyebrows trimmed so I don't think I would have a problem growing them back.

I guess this is more common with men than I thought... As long as you guys don't go filling them in with Sharpees later.  ;D
Personally, I like mine. Gonna hang onto them.

Personally, I don't shave mine off. I just trim them every once in awhile when I trim up my Van Dyke.

Great advice Noodles. Great to hear from you again.
