Appreciating Sly
« on: August 06, 2010, 09:18:16 PM »
While the sly look wouldn't be my look of choice if I didn't have MPB Its grown on me and I've started to like it alot. After 2 months of being sly I was getting a lil bored with the look and wished that I could have my hair back. I also seemd to noth think of me being bald as I couldn't see my hair. However I had a stint recently where for 2 weeks I wasn't able to shave everyday and when I could shave I had to use a single blade razor with no shaving cream. Needless to say my anxietys came back after my thin hair on top shined thru. I think it was just what I needed to secure the sly look as the look for me.  Anyone else had experiences like this?

The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the Past better than it was,
the Present worse than it is & the future less resolved than it will be.

I have had two periods of 6-7 days where I didn't keep it clean.  By the end, each time, the insecurities start coming back, relearning the rules about not standing in front of mirrors w/ people around, no standing under bright lights--anything that emphasizes the "horseshoe" look.  And each time, I'm amazed I was able to get any sort of "combover" out of what I have left.  There's a post up where the word "tumbleweeds" is used as a description--and that's what it feels like.  I never will understand why guys will let it grow when it looks that bad, never will.

Shoot I won't even get out and mow the yard with a 2 day growth horseshoe showing. I have went outside and got started and went back in the house just to shave that crap off man!

I cringe at sight of those guys with a full grown shoe man!, aka Dr. Phil look. I wanna make a business card up that says "Say no to the shoe and combover!" and drop one on a table or something while in a restaurant or somewhere. :Xo! ;D
What are those guys thinking. Some older guy's shoe are so low on the back that they look like they have a mustache on the back head. Shakes Head.
Just saw one astrology guy on a talk show a while ago, I just stare at that horseshoe! like OCD man! Thinking why don't he 86 that off. uggggghhhhh!!!! :Xo!
