Hi there,

After having been lurking a while, I thought I'd join in the fun by subscribing.

A little introduction about me. I'm in my early 50-ies and been growing a bald spot on the middle of my head for the last 15 years or so. At the same time, my beautiful dark (almost black) colour faded more and more in to silver gray. Nice colour, too but somehow I just didn't get to like it.
So, over the years I started cutting it down more and more but it still annoyed me a bit that I just didn't get it as I wanted.

So a few weeks ago, I thought...what the heck, I just cut it as short as possible. I really minimizes the length as short as I could, but there was still some of that gray area visible. So, a couple of days later, I thought....well, it can be even cooler and took out the razor and now .... I'm really shining like the sun!

As I already used to cut my hair really short, most people around me didn't really respond. Some remarks in surprise ("he ...new look") but funny enough...some hardly even noticed it. Well, that is...MEN don't notice. Somehow women ALWAYS seems to see these things :-) But reactions were all positive. It appears they think I'm looking good.

Now, after a few weeks, I really started to like my new look and feeling proud of it. Strangely enough, it seems like
I'm seeing a lot more baldies then I've ever seen before. Probably it's like buying a new car, all of a sudden you keep seeing the same model everywhere.

I don't really know what I expect from this forum, but he....it's always nice to talk to some new buddies.

So here I am, Baldly going where many have gone before....:-)
