Relief mostly, and a little pride at having finally done it after thinking about it for so long.  The nervousness set in a little while later.

The first headshave is one of those memorable experiences. For me it was nervousness and excitement. The Headblade sat on the counter for 3 months and after pumping myself up and a little peer pressure, i finally did the deed. A couple beers helped! when I was done shaving, then it became a sense of pride because I finally did it. I knew the look was for me right away and going out the first time with a bald head was actually easy to do (and to do it without a hat!) because i knew the look was for me and i was confident about it.

The first time I was nervous and still too consumed with what others might think.  Glad that's all behind me years later!  O0

Before I shaved it was absolutely nervousness.   I put it off and put it off until my hair piece looked so bad that I had to do it.   When I was done - absolute relief.  Then nervous for being in public - then immediate confidence as soon as I walked in the door.   Now - absolute confidence.   Of course wearing a viking helmet also helps with confidence too.

I concur.

Satisfied. Because I realized the journey I've been on without even knowing it had reached it's destination. The ultimate hairstyle. My style of choice.

Really didn't think of it until my 2 years younger nephew did it and that influenced me, no big deal as I think back. Oh I was in need of it at the time, MPB had won the battle of the follicles. Peace BBros'.

Complete excitement and relief.  Like a kid on his birthday, a fun experience.  I had a little worry about co-workers, but being around them was great.  All around a wonderful, FUN time.
