Returning to work.

As the title of this post suggests, tomorrow i start my first shift at the hospital since i went on 'holiday' way back in June.
Just want to thank those who have responded to my various troubled posts recently. It has helped me to accept and to make this transition easier.
For those who are interested, i look forward to telling you how it went when i return in the evening.
Speak to you then!

Gonna be a great day, dude! When I went back to the hospital to work, it was an exciting, fun day! You should have a blast, brother.

Each day you will get shocked looks and comments. When people ask just say "how could I cover up this dome!" or "I didn't want to hide my best feature."
I'd say the newness of it fades completely after two weeks for workmates.

It went great! a few funny looks here and there but mostly either positive remarks or nothing at all. The most frequent thing people said was that it suited me, which was probably just the thing i was hoping to hear, lol.
I didn't really sleep at all the night before and was shattered by the time my 12hour shift came to an end, but im really glad to finally be back at work, things are definitely starting to look alittle brighter.
Also i had my first counciling session today, it was a positive experiance and im looking forward to my next session..
I intend to keep myself busy as much as possible for the coming weeks so as to avoid 'slipping up' in anyway and find myself backtracking.. and with a big house move around the corner that shouldn't prove to difficult!
Also as a final bit of good news.. My headblade 'matte finish' head lube came through the post today! lol. Can't wait to try it out come the morning

That's great that you experienced what most of us have after returning to work after shaving our heads. We all build up this horrible scenario - then the day comes and as John Madden would say *boom* - nothing happens. Glad to hear that you're out of the valley and climbing up the hill. We're all there with you - to help you however we can.
