Weekend Shaver

First, wow, what a great site! I've been lurking around for sometime, and now decided to post my story.
I used to have the longish stick your finger in a light socket hairstyle. You know what everyone has been wearing for sometime. Well two years ago I was tired of the gel and wanted something different (My hairline has been receeding since I was about 21 (now 30)) and buzzed it to a three on top and a two on sides and back. Needless to say sitting there with all that hair falling was a bit nerveracking. It looked good, and I really liked it. Long story short, I started buzzing it myself with a two, and for the last year a one all over.
Around the first of May this year, my girlfriend said I looked like a chiapet, so I started buzzing with the one like always, HOWEVER, the guard came off during a pass right down the middle of my head! So I clipper shaved it all, and didn't like it at all. Several days went by and the look was growing on me so I shaved it again. O
On Memorial weekend, I decided to shave it bald. Again I wasn't sure about it, so I let it grow out, wearing a hat until the next Friday I shaved it again. I've been doing so every week since then. I'm sure other here will say I'm missing out, but this it what is comfortable for me.
So I guess I can say I'm a weekend shaver! haha.

Welcome GT, however you do it, you're still a shaver. Keep it going and do it at your own pace.
Oh yeah, you should leave the hats at home, show the noggin' off. (Unless you plan on being in the sun all day).

Welcome, I'd try for weekend, but, I kinda like that slick feel. If I let it go a day or two, I get the velcro feel, I can imagine what i'd feel like by the weekend.

Welcome GT.
I'm also a weekend shaver, a saturday shaver to be more precise.
I have not shaved more than once a week since October of last year.
Who knows maybe I will shave more regularly soon but I like it the way it is now.

Thanks a lot jp_bald!
Sometimes I can't believe I'm actually doing this.
It's all because of SBG!
