Woooo Weeee! look at all those bald heads, all shapes, sheens, and pigmentations! We look like we are a different race or somethin', lol.
Well, anyhow, just found your site thought I would up your bald census there buddies. I call it bald you guys use "sly" , hmmmm, when I see that I am thinking alot of Sylvester Stallone. I never heard sly as a description to bald. Excuse me for my "thinking out typing". Maybe I am ignorant or something.
Maybe I can add a tid bit or two that may help some dude that is on the fence or needs some encouragement, heck I need it too sometimes, as you all well know yourselves it is not easy sometimes, being the minority in cranial coverage.
I buzzed my head since about '94 and started shaving it in '99. I have always had a high forehead, but, began getting a bald spot at around 19, that was also the first time I heard "Hey, Your going bald!" After hearing that for about 10 years I buzzed it. I thought, how do I stop people from tellin' me that? Just shave it and they couldn't tell me that I "was going bald" anymore. lol
Well thinking back now, my nephew is 2 years younger than me, he actually lost and shaved his before me. Well that is a little dilly about my experience with the mister clean look.
A few more things and I will close the intro:
If I had a choice I would want my hair back. I miss it, I miss combing it and at times I feel kinda naked without it. My head feels the cold of winter more. And when I sweat it beads up and falls in my eyes alot. I used to have a bad complex around people in the past and it has gotten better especially since shaving has become a popular style.
Now, since I don't have a choice, It's as a part of me as brushing my teeth, shaving my face, etc. and I have told people that I was brought into this world bald and I will leave it bald. I do get tired of the procedure of shaving sometimes. And lately I been thinking why in the world do we end up with that horseshoe of hair around the head, why not lose it all, It would be so convenient not to have to lather up and shave. And even when I shave I still have a dark stubble horseshoe, some guys don't have that and some do, go figure.
One more thing, I will tell a fellow, that I know, If he is sporting a horseshoe and god forbid a combover, "why don't you shave it off." Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't, but, I get it off my chest, lol. But I think it makes guys look better, neater, younger, etc. Don't you?
Well that's all I got to say about that for now. Sorry for the length. I was gonna "Shave" a little of it, but didn't.

Welcome JB
I think we all had that "horseshoe" at one time or another - - - -I go for a few days and it shows up - - -I try to shave every day - -so NO "horseshoe" for me
Welcome JB as for me, I'd reather play horseshoes instead of wearing a horseshoe. Good post.
