Foreigner....the BAND!!
« on: June 11, 2010, 09:33:22 AM »
OK....this is for those of us who were teenagers (or thereabouts) in the late 70's and for those who have Comcast HD On Demand.

I stumbled across a concert of Foreigner filmed in HD in 2008....OMG!  They shredded!!  And this comes from a veteran rocker such as myself.

I'm pretty sure the only original member was Mick Jones (Lead Guitar), but they played their stuff SPOT ON!!  And the singer sounds so much like the original singer, Lou Gramm, it's freakin' scary!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself for the entire 55-minute concert.

If you have Comcast HD On Demand, ya gotta check it out!  Go to:

Comcast On Demand---->HD On Demand------>Music------>Soundstage----->Foreigner

Robbie, if you like shows like that, check out the channel called Palladia.  All it plays is live concerts in HD.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

As Madam Ambassador is a carer, I can ask her to sort you out with some incontinence wear if you are having a problem Rob  :*))

We went with a group of friends a couple of years ago to see Foreigner at Lake of the Torches Casino in Lac du Flambeau, WI. They totally rocked the house down.
The drummer, Jason Bonham, is the son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham.

I didn't realize that....I was impressed with his drumming and noticed that the kit was a similar ludwig set up to Bonham.....duhhh
