Glee
« on: June 09, 2010, 07:51:12 AM »
I have only in the past couple of weeks started watching, and have become hooked on, "Glee" on FOX. What a fantastic show!

I was just wondering if anyone else watches this show also...

Much to the horror, and/or bewilderment of most everyone who knows me pretty well, I am a total Gleek. Was from the very first episode. IMO this is one of the best shows on television right now. Brilliant entertainment.

"The one-hour series follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the school's Glee Club and inspire a group of ragtag performers to make it to the biggest competition of them all: Nationals." Read more here: http://www.aceshowbiz.com/tv/glee/summary.html

Also the IMBd has the lowdown: http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=glee

Truth be told though, nothing you will read comes close to conveying the amazing spirit and mind-blowing talent displayed on this show every episode. The cast is touring now, doing live shows. The music from the show, primarily covers of hit songs (especially from the '80s) is available on iTunes.

LOL - not that it would be a bad thing, but no.  For example, this most recent episode features a medley of songs by Journey, as well as a kickin' rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody  :@`

MHO is that I can watch whatever I want.  I'm secure in my masculinity.  Just like so many church goers refuse to let their children watch the Harry Potter flixs.  Their reason: Demons.  Come on!   I had rather watch deamons that to have them sneek up on me. lol

i watch glee but is it confusing for me to say i hate it? i think i just like the musical aspects of it being a musician and all but everything else that comes with it i hate. though i did get bullied a lot in high school and it wasnt for being openly gay but for quitting the soccer team and track team to focus more on music (music would obviously benefit me more in the long run)
