Thanks for the compliments on the new look.  Definatly "growing" on me.

I dont know if its a forever look, but definatly leaning torwards sporting this look for awhile

I think the 'hairy' look was just kind of average.  The shaved look is a marked improvement - you have a great head shape to pull off the look, and it gives you a new edge.  Welcome aboard.

Welcome!  I shave in the shower and I run my razor backward on my arm a few times while shaving .. makes your blade last a lot longer and you get a better shave.

I am new to the forum as well.  I have thinning hair, but decided to go the buzzing route rather than shave since I have some new scars on my head that have not completely healed.  I don't miss all the fussing about with my hair though and love this freedom!  Bald guys are hot!   ;D
