The Leap by Rick Smith
« on: June 03, 2010, 06:38:23 PM »
I've been reading The Leap, a book by Rick Smith, this week. It's a short book with lots of anecdotes of successful people and how they got that way.  Has anyone else read this book?

He dispels a lot of myths about successful people being risk takers who threw caution to the wind. Even Bill Gates, who dropped out of Harvard, had a risk mitigation strategy.  He'd tested the waters before taking the final plunge. Most of the success examples he writes about in the book started out part time and some stumbled onto their success. Others were prodded into it by their close friends and acquaintances.

I haven't read it, but it sounds like one I need to pick up this weekend.  Thanks for sharing!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.
