CONFESSIONS OF A NEW BROTHER
« on: June 02, 2010, 01:54:03 AM »
Guys,

i have to share this with you.
Its been 2 months since iv gone Sly and i have to agree i never felt this good.

Moreover the best part about being Sly is YOU GUYS !

It feels so comforting to visit this forum, i get a sort of homely feelings talking to u guys which i dont get even around friends.

All of you are very very nice genuine and helpful people.

Who said Sly guys are wicked? thats BS !

You people have changed my perspective towards things, i used to be very cautious when i went out, very nervous and scared.

The people on this forum have been very very nice to me and everyone else around here.

Whenever i visit this place im filled with positive thoughts and energy.

I have never seen so many helpful together in one place before.

I was always doubtful about going sly, but thanks to this place all my insecurities are fading away :)

I never thought ill meet such kind hearted people in my life :)

Thank you all for the support :)

Hey, you're just as important to this place as the others. Hang around and try your best to help another newbie when the situation occurs. We're glad to have you here.  O0

You are exactly right Ike -- this is a safe harbor for anyone dealing with hair loss.   The guys here literally changed my life - for the better!   I echo every one of your statements.

"Head hair?"  Think of it as "stringy, proteinaceous scalp extrusions, variably infused with melanin."  Defined as such, isn't it great to move beyond it?  As wisdom comes the hair recedes.  Some of the adamantly unwise refuse to accept that, for example, Donald Trump.  "The Donald" may have billions, but he doesn't have a grain of sense above his ears (externally).

Thank you for the confession Ike!  That type of response is one that I was looking to get when I created this site.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Ike, I never thought of this forum as being wicked, except for some New Englanders who might think of themselves as "wicked good"  or "wicked bad", which might mean the same thing depending on who you are talking to and the interpretation.   :*)) :*))
I totally agree with you that this is a fantastic site with some unbelieveably kind hearted and overall nice guys who are willing to work with other guys about a very sensitive and personal subject.  Of course one of the rewards is seeing people like yourself who are released from prisons in the mind and transformed into some really super (need I say super Sly) guys.   O0

If it wasn't for this forum Id probably be on hiding under a hat or worse..on propecia. This forum has changed my life for the better, so I want to do my very best to help encourage others to change theirs as well. Going sly is the best way to deal with hair loss and build confidence I am firm in this belief.

Thank god for slybaldguys, I will be around this forum for as long as its up to help encourage lurkers, and people on the fence alike. Sly is the only way to go.
