They've announced that Little Orphan Annie, the comic strip, with one of the first Sly characters, Daddy Warbucks, will cease publication on June13.  Eighty-two years according to the report I read.

I heard a rumor that in the final strip, that Daddy Warbucks finally springs for pupils for all their eyes!  :D

Seriously though, it's sad to hear that it's being laid to rest, but all good things must come to an end, I suppose...
