Definitely give the HB another shot if you can.  The guys at HB are really cool, and their customer support is top notch.  Glad they were able to fix the situation for you.  The HB Sport is really a great product, and I have been using it for over a year and a half now.   I highly recommend that one over the ghost and the original HB.  Keep in mind there are always going to be some bumps along the way.  But don't get discouraged.....I always have my Xtreme 3 standing by, but the HB has not failed me yet.  Good luck!

Just remember with the Headblade to go slow and don't put any pressure on the blade.  The only time I've cut myself with mine is when I get in a hurry.  I've tried the Mach3 and Fusion, and the Headblade outperforms them by far.  Of course, those are my results.  Everyone is different.
