Lighten up, his date was around the 25th--and he'll do it IMO bc anyone creative enough to do that bag can do the blade.

Saint, I am lightened up my friend, I know the Gentleman evidentially went through and is still going through some tough times with MPB and I know we are all here to support and help but why set an exact date....and one almost two and a half months later ??? Most of the guys that I've met here have had the same exact issues and one day they just say "screw it" and the transition happened right then and now....they didn't wait two and a half months later, I understand I could have came off abrasive but if we had this discussion in person my tone would've been understandable.

Well, its as we say here in Louisiana, Chacqun a son gout (please excuse the bastard spelling).  Essentially, it's each to his own.  I mean I didn't go the rug route, that's got to be one of the toughest and expensive routes.  And if having everything planned out to the day helps Timetobeme accomplish his well deserved freedom from the rug mechants, that's what it must be.  I can't criticize, after all I tended the combover for years, polluting my lungs and the atmosphere with so much hair spray that it wasn't a haircut it was a helmet.  The main thing is that he's going to do this for himself, and in another sense for his kids who won't see "rugs" as a suitable answer to a genetic trait that is nothing to hide--bc I believe he will be a let it shine kind of guy.

Lighten up, his date was around the 25th--and he'll do it IMO bc anyone creative enough to do that bag can do the blade.

Uh...Wow!  I am not sure if I am flattered or distressed as my near nightly check in on this forum finds a thread that is somewhat dedicated to me.  Gossip, speculation, disdain...SUPPORT???  I am not sure what the purpose is, as a PM would have been my choice for such a question.

Anyway, no biggie!!!

For those that have taken the time to read my intro, I chose the date, May 26, because it will be a bit of a transitional time for me at work.  A time where I feel most comfortable with going sly.

A day has not gone by that I have not thought about my commitment-most days I am excited, some days I am scared, but I am looking forward to it.

To the sly bros, thanks for your postivie comments that have gotten me to this point.  The POSITIVE comments are always appreciated!

Thanks for replying TTBM! I don't think Mango meant any harm at all by creating this thread. I think he was just more curious about your outcome.
I have to admit...... your avatar definetly got my attention............. very clever. Keep us posted!

trust me I had the same mixed emotions as you, you have nothing to be afraid of. Make it your best effort when you shave it to have it exposed. don't hide it under hats and stuff so people can get used to it. its only been about 3 days for me and my family is already completely used to it.
