how to get clean bald look

I recently started shaving my head a couple of weeks ago and I am just wondering, how do I get more of a clean bald look? Since my hair line is receding a little I dont like how you can clearly see where my hair ends and my head begins.

I am assuming A) that you are white  and B) that you have dark hair.   I will start off by saying that you will NEVER completely get rid of the shadow.  But you can minimize it.  1) shave daily 2) get some sun (don't burn it!) 3) pray that it will eventually all fall out and/or turn gray     Wish I could  be more help, but that is my experience.

Depending on how dark your hair is, there might not be a lot you can do short of shaving more than once a day.  I'm fortunate and don't have really dark hair.  Some of the bros here were talking about this in another thread, maybe they'll jump in.

Welcome & I know that you're enjoying the freedom from worry about your mpb.
The "shadow" can be minimized by some color on the dome, and that happens over time, relatively short however and a good close shave everyday.  How to get the perfect shave is the Holy Grail of Slydome.  But it's kind of like how you get to Carnegie Hall--practice, practice practice.  You'll get it to a nice point, just be sure to use a good after shave balm, and sunscreen--can't emphasize the SUNSCREEN enough--particularly if you're like a lot of us who don't like to cover our gleamers w/ a hat.

hey sdc10:  welcome 2 the sly fraternity.  glad that ya joined us.  the dreaded shadow is every sly guy's enemy.
the only way 2 defeat the shadow is if all the hair completely falls out or getting several treatments on laser hair removal.  laser hair removal is very expensive & it can still leave many small "patches" of hair.

however... if U want a clean bald look; U should do some research on the HEAD SHAVING section of the forum titled:  "your shave routine",  "what razor you use",  "shaving cream or gel".  there R several routines that U can experiment with.  the fun part of finding the perfect head shave is the experimentation.
