Brand New S4 for sale on the cheap!

I recently won the Executive S4 Shadow Kit through a HeadBlade contest ( http://www.headblade.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=HB&Product_Code=Exec.+S4+Kit&Category_Code=kits ) and was absolutely stoked to use this badass of a kit. Unfortunately the wifey is being absolutely adamant that she wants me keeping my hair while I have it, so I'm selling it =/. This is unused and in the original packaging, with the full kit including the Groomster. Well, I hope that this marital equation is well balanced and that she will consider and follow your desires when she changes her hair style, length or color, bc unless that's part of the deal, I'd put that puppy in a drawer, you will probably get to use it sooner rather than later.  She sounds like the bride in http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=12580.0.

Nice one! Yeah, she is paying for the privilege; she's kept her hair the way I wanted it for a long time and doesn't ask for too much from me. Still kinda sad to have to unload this; didn't open the package but the blade LOOKS just sick.

I agree with Mr.B, Shyft. One day you just may want to be shaved, and that's a hell of a razor to have.

I have to say two things about this thread, first--although I've tried the HB, it just isn't for me but more power to the guys that get the best shaves from it, and two, and the point of this post/rant, I find it somewhat a disconnect when someone obviously entered a contest for a prized version of the machine, then having gotten it for free makes his introduction to this site asking $80 for the device.  There's a really mean spirited attitude about that.  I would think he would just donate it to the cause--why profit from something you can't/won't use if you had to make a positive effort to get it anyway by entering a contest intended for the sly community?  Just doesn't compute for me.

I too participated in the HB bracket challange and it saddens me that the winner can't/won't use the prized possession that he won.

I agree.  Why sign up for something you don't intend to use.  That just worsens the chance of someone else winning that will actually use is.  Then advertising that your selling it cheap...I don't consider $20 off cheap when buying it second hand from someone who got it for free.

As mentioned, completely intended to use it. Wife literally will not let me.
Um, I figured $80 with free shipping was a ton less than $115. They've been selling on ebay for more than 80 without free shipping. I guess I could go lower, it's not a big deal to me. Sorry to cause any backlash, but I can't see just giving away a $100 prize that I seriously wanted and was happy about getting due to circumstances. Maybe if I had a buddy IRL that shaves I would, but nobody around here is cool like that (the one friend I have that shaves his head uses clippers ... how primitive).

Personally, I would keep it.  Maybe the wife will change her mind.  Or, if she really pisses you off, you can shave your head to get back at her.  Just kidding of course....or am I?  I'm lucky enough to have a wife that really didn't care that I shaved.  I don't think she liked it at first, until I decided to let it grow back out for a couple weeks and she made some comments on how thin I was getting on top.  Shaved it back off that day.
