do bumps/valleys turn out better or worse than you expected?
« on: April 16, 2010, 02:47:27 PM »
before you cut your hair most of you probably examined the head and imagined what it would look like. did the various small  bumps and valleys (such as the ones that in some people extend from somewhere behind the ears to the back of the head) turn out to be larger or smaller than you expected?

I wouldnt say they were larger than i expected.  I became more aware of them, but I suspect that they are unnoticeable to others, or atleast not that significant.

I knew there was not a perfect sphere under what was left, but I knew that it looked so bad w/ what was left hanging on, I had no where to go but up, and that's exactly what happened, and better.

The flat area in the back of my head turned out to be even larger than I thought it was, but it is no problem at all for me.

I have a large scar on the back of my head from a birth mark removal and one on my forehead that is not as large.  It really was noticeable to touch when I ran my hand through my hair.  I was really worried that I would cut it every time I shave and I did once or twice but so far so good now.

Fairly big scar on the side of my head that I didn't know was there and I've no idea how it got there.

Initially I was a bit perturbed with the various nooks and crannies on my noggin. Had no idea I had some of them. Or the scarring on my crown that I attribute to some youthful adventure since forgotten. The overall look and feel of being sly quickly overwhelmed my initial concerns though.

I have a several dents and scars that I had no idea were there before shaving.   I don't even think about them though.  Everybody's got something.
