Under the deffinition I gave (from wiki) it is your defenition plus the sentence I gave.
So if I understand your definition correctly, it would be this.
Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.Used by itself, sports commonly refer to activities where the physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determiner of the outcome (winning or losing), but the term is also used to include activities such as motor sports where equipment quality are major factors.
The Wiki deffinition is this

All physical sports require luck too. A lucky bounce, a luck call, etc...
All I'm saying is YES poker is a sport under the above deffinition.
Read the deffinition again. Sports do not have to have physical activity. Some sports require a physical skill while others require a mental skill, some all of the above.
Now if you want to say that ALL sports MUST be physical then NO, poker is not a sport. -
