Keep my family friend in your prayer's
« on: March 29, 2010, 05:17:53 PM »
I just found out that my Mom's good friend's Boyfriend/Fiancee Darryl is in hospice care for pancreatic cancer and is probably not gonna make it thru this week, Darryl's a great guy and has really taken care of Gale. Gale's son Colin who I know is also battling hodgkin's lymphoma. My Mom is on standby if anything happens and is visiting him tommorow....truly sad.

Prayers offered up!!
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

Update for everyone : My Mom went to go visit Darryl and Gale today. Darryl is going about his business likes it's any other day, you'd expect someone that was in hospice to be in a bed ridden or debilitating state but my Mom said he's all dressed up and sitting in his favorite chair, he is on a morphine pump so his cognitive function is still there but he's got the "high" going plus he told my mom he's got to keep moving around the house so he doesn't fall asleep and not wake up. Gayle was telling my Mom that yesterday his was taken a nap and woke up drenched in sweat and asked if he was dead..........My mom pretty much broke down after telling me that. The Man's a f!@#$!$ Rock !!!
