A quick introduction guys,
firstly I want to say thankyou...this site has been a saviour to me in the last couple of months as I have been struggling with my hairloss. The positivity of this site in comparrison to all the other hair loss sites filled with men moaning and complaining about how hair loss has ruined their life is fantastic
Okay, to let you know a bit about myself I am 26 years old and I was recently in a messy breakup with a women who I though was my soul mate at the time...added to this I realized that I was losing my hair and as such my self confidence took a nose dive resulting in massive depression and feelings of "my life is over", "I will never be able to get a hot girlfriend again" etc etc
.......though thanks to this site.....I now have a game plan!!!!....luckily for me despite my hair thinning nobody has commented on it yet so this Sunday i am going to buzz cutt my hair down to either 3mm or 6mm...maybe 3mm on the side and 6mm on top where it is thinning...not quite sure yet...we will see
....currently I am taking propecia but I think I will get off it soon, especially when I have my new haircut and a tan as I am rather worried about the side effects and dont really like the idea of taking drugs
....like everyone else I am hoping I dont have a weird shaped headed but I am resolved to do it and end this cycle of depression and worry so I can get on with my life and start living again....step 2 hit the gym and bulk up...step 3 dress better, make more money, buy a better car......basically I am going to do whatever I need to do to make the best of the situation......Kinda like a rebirth of a new me
A big shout out to all the young guys on the site.....would love to know how women have reacted to your new head....strangely enough I know one hot chick who loves guys with shaved heads and beards/goatees so I am sure they will be one out their for me

I look forward to the "before and after" shots, raven. For fu*ks sake stop with the Propecia already. That stuff is poison mate. Oh .. and trust me .. the chicks, or should I say the really cool chicks, dig the sly look. You can see them aching to rub their hands over that nice smooth dome!

Hey Raven welcome to the group. Do you know the difference between 3mm and sly? The difference is control, confidence, pride, and power. Take it all the way down to zero. For those of us who agonized for years over our hair loss - step up, man up, and do it. Trust all of us on this message board, the quicker you get to zero the quicker you're going to be happy and can move on with your life.
Take it from an old sly guy - there are very vocal women out there who love shaved heads -- and there are a lot of them! The quicker you go sly the quicker you'll find out the benefits of sly for yourself. -

Get it shaved smooth, get off the drugs now (toss em' today), and get on with your new life.
Like the guys' said, women love the bald dome (I get compliments all the time).

Welcome, you've found the right place. Some great ideas, my only suggestion is timing. On the drugs, move from "going to" to just do it--today, not another tab. You never know which one will start the problem. Stop.
Buzzing on Sunday--come on, in for a penny, in for a pound. Shave it--and then after 30 days, if you find it more than you want it will grow out to a buzz quickly. Check the posts on the guys who have shaved--quickly you'll see the most common remark is, "Why did I wait so long." Get in front of this now.
Hitting the gym, always a good idea--and you'll be one of many sly guys there, good for the ego.
Doing whatever to better the situation--definitely the way to go at life generally. Positive attitudes about things in general, other people and yourself. Just remember you deserve the best.
