I'm really bummed that shipping charges have gotten so high. I try to order enough to get free shipping if it's an option.

It's definetly the shipping costs for me. I can usually buy another whole product for what the shipping costs are.

What he said, and they generally use UPS, and our local UPS, at least for residential is really poor. The guy won't come in the yard bc he knows we have a Dobbie, and just leaves a pick up notice on the gate--just doesn't work for me.

Yep, shipping costs gets my vote as well. My local drugstores keep putting all their head shaving products on clearance. Which is good right now because I have been getting deals, but not so good later when my only option is ordering online.

The shipping charges are brutal. And I'm not planning on spending so much $$ at one time to get the free shipping. That and the wait time - I only buy when I am nearly out of something; I would hate having to plan even further in advance :-(

Ebay shipping is usually free for blades, see my other post about increase in price of Fusion blades. But you have to hunt around on ebay and find the best price. My mama told me, you better shop around.
Shaving cream is so cheap I buy it local but most everything else I buy online, if you buy in bulk the price of shipping is often offset by the savings in local taxes.

1- Cost of Shipping
2- It takes too long to do all the searching, comparing, clicking, and paying when it's on line
When that is factored into the equation, on line buying can get rather expensive.
3- CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. has it all, right there on the the shelf.

If the price was the same or better as buying in the store, would you be more willing to buy if the shipping was free and relatively quick (say 3 to 4 days for delivery)?

I, for one, might be more inclined to purchase those products that I want/use on line, IF all those things were so.
The least important thing for me is the 3 to 4 day delivery time. I think most of us would know further in advance when we need something, or want something. Perhaps I'm in the minority there, but I certainly don't plan a trip to CVS just to buy shave cream, blades, etc.

I'll only order online if I can't find it in the stores, or if its cheaper. When you figure in shipping it almost never is. If it's cheaper online I would wait a few days.

Exactly. Delivery time is not the main point here.

I buy most of my shaving products online...
