Define pork parts,,,

Well, some "parts" not generally part of American cuisine are lips, ears & tails--all of these are eaten, pickled, by some people in Louisiana.  Feet, or trotters, are also generally available in markets here--but I don't see them in many other areas.

in certian parts of N C they have the ears and the lips but you can pretty much get the feet in any conveiance store around Charlotte ..only tried one once...BUT I do get the dried ears for my Rottie

Fresh pickled ears, lips, snout, etc.for people here.  But as has been noted many times, if something doesn't move fast enough and they can put a sauce on it, it's dinner in Louisiana.

  on the sauce I been trucking for 23 years so I have been just about every place , had to laugh one time tho I had a load of Turkey Tails going to El Paso ,,,turns out they eat them in Mexico like we do Chicken wings deep fried ...40,000 pounds a day the broker handled just for one town

Well, what a good find!    Today, at the beach here on vacation, one of the persons that we hang out with, had a real special treat for everyone to sample. 
Quite tasty, NOT, but just when you think you've seen it all,  someone breaks out a can of these.

SPAM and eggs in the morning!

Darn... we didn't have any eggs so...

Tonight we had baked potatoes with fried cubes of SPAM, veggies and cheese with sour cream!  Good stuff!

Well, now that the 'event' has passed, and the Tsunami warning for the Hawaiian Islands has been canceled, along with the grocery store rush, this morning, on T-Paper, Beer and other real necessities,  You all can sleep more easy tonight knowing that the two (2) case limit on SPAM at Safeway Stores has also been canceled.
