That's exactly how it looks here in the south subs of Chicago. I've had to shovel 7 times in the last 2 days.

If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times.

I'm with you on that one Dome. It has been cold for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina but I will take that over what they have up north right now.

South Shore(Nassau COunty), Long Island we got the light side of a foot.....further east on the South Shore (suffolk) they got 18 inches. We were lucky once again and my golf game will be delayed.

Awesome, but I'd think after a couple of days you'd really get a bad case of cabin fever! Do they plow the streets so you can get around or are you just stuck w/ the sled and dog teams?
There's another front going over the South today,, and it's going to move up the east coast so I don't think you have much relief in sight.

Tropical Long Island can't contend with Arctic South Jersey. But here's my beach this morning at quarter of three, showing some evidence of a previous try at coping. Day has come and it's clear that it's time for a drink with a little umbrella in it before I put on my jams and wax the board.

My heart goes out to all of you. I'm worried as to the flooding that might occur when this stuff melts. Can't be good! From the looks of things you won't have to worry until about July. Are you listening Mr. Gore?

I am going to import a dog sled and team from Mr. Sarah Palin so that I can get around. Cars are useless.

The majority of these storms came through NM too, but didn't leave anywhere near that much behind. Hope you guys can dig out and be mobile soon!
