Another Brick in the Wall
« on: February 05, 2010, 07:20:38 PM »
Had a possible breakthrough tonight while watching tv with the wife.  I've got significant thinning all about the top and at a #2 S/B, little longer on the top.  A dude with a #1 buzz came n the picture and I said what about giving me a buzz cut like that.  She said sure, letKs give it a try, it grows back fast.  Tomorrow morning we're going to git r done.  Does anyone recommend any moisturizers for a short cut like that in the winter?  Also - I'm a white collar guy with a good job at a conservative company.  Anyone have a similar experience returning to work?

When I shaved my head I barely got a blink at my job. Also a conservative place.

I currently work for one of the largest and most conservative companies in the US and rock the Sly dome.  I've worked in customer facing roles at and never had an issue.  It's all about your confidence and how you perform.

It was no big deal returning to work for me.  I also worked at a very conservative company.  Just do the deed and enjoy the results.  Sounds like your wife is on board too, that never hurts.

Lawyer here, can't get much more conservative--responses were two, nice and then there were those that were none.  It's just not a big event now days, except for you--you're going to like it--especially when you realize how close you are to being able to shave it down to smooth--that's nice, if the temptation strikes, don't fight, shave O0
