Hi people I am new here. Watching this forum for some time. I am 25 years old. I have MPB from when I was 18 but it is progressing very slowly. Some people didnt believe I am balding till I was 21 "You just have thinner hair that is not balding" The horseshoe and the thinned top proved them wrong:) From todays point of view I think it would be better if it went faster because it seems the less hair I have the less I care about hairloss:) Or maybe I am just getting older and wiser
The few hair left on my head is not a problem anymore. The only problem is I dont like how it looks. I believe how you look is a kind of advertisement. Many people tend to judge the others from the first impression and young guy + horseshoe is not a good one. Like orange if it doesnt look good you dont want to peel it and try the insides:) Yes I am talking about women:) The universe turns around them:) Not that there were none that like me but there is always something you can improve and if I dont like something I try to change it if it is possible.
I shaved last year and it felt good:) But I let it grow back and work on being in a good shape and then am going to shave again in spring when the sun is shining so I dont have white head:)

Welcome to the forum. To shave or not is your choice. Unfortunately, many people tend to judge the book by the cover. There are always going to be someone that find fault in whatever you do. My advise is to do what you like. Once people get used to your new look, you're set. Good luck on your decision. So, come often and engage in the conversations and if you decide to take the plunge, the information on this site is invaluable.

Welcome. I agree with NewYawka. You gotta love it, first. Give it 30 days of shaving daily and then make the call.

Welcome to the board here Iam new here as well and rember it is your choice to shave but as far as the women go none ever ask to rub a head of hair and while I agree that how you look leaves a first impression it shows you have pride in how you look because you take the time to shave and dress nice and that you have the confedence to be who you want to and not fit into a mold ,,,,,,,,,,,and women like confedence more then hair ,,,,,but anyhow,,,,,welcome
