St. Patricks Day Beer
« on: March 16, 2007, 12:24:59 AM »
I'm looking to our Irish friends to help me out with this one, but all can respond.  What's the best beer to drink on St. Patrick's day?

My first answer would be "Any Beer!", but maybe you should go with a Half Guiness/Half Harp.  Cheers!

Strictly a Guiness man myself.  And that should be supplemented by an occassional Tullamore Dew.

Guiness, or Murpheys Irish Stout.  Black and Tan made with Guiness and Harps is good too.

What is a pint o plain?  If you don't mind me asking?

I'm usually a Guinnes or Murphy's guy when it comes to Irish Stout, but I thought that might be the Americanized version of Irish beer, so I was looking to pick up some "authentic" stuff at BevMo on my way home today.

Being the Schro-lover-of-all, I don't want to offend anyone of non-Irish decent. So, I drink all beer. `Dr!n#
