Almost One Year Sly
« on: January 14, 2010, 06:35:23 PM »

About a year ago I found this forum. I was considering shaving my head. My hair was getting really thin in the back and a couple of hurtful comments from a couple of people had me feeling kind of bad about how I looked.

I wish I would have done this 10 years ago. My wife says she has her husband of 20 years ago back (in all areas my sly brothers)....I rededicated myself to working out every day....(I'm probably in the best shape I've been in since I was in my 20s....).

You guys helped me do this. I just wanted to check in and let you know how much I appreciate it. I turned 51 last week....and I'm really looking forward to the rest of a life not worrying about a hairline.

Thanks brothers.....Appreciate it.

I was having a beer with a buddy of mine a couple of weeks ago. (He's thinking about going sly....) I told him how funny it was that a year ago I was wanting to hang on to every little bit of hair I had left and now I can't stand to even feel stubble.

Sly all the way.

That is so true, once you're in front of and in control of mpb, any stubble isn't pleasant.

Nice post TK.  It's really neat how going sly sometimes leads to losing weight which sometimes leads to a better life which sometimes leads to ...................  The possibilities are endless.  Keep looking good. O0

Way to go TK!  Thanks for checking in and letting us know.  Hopefully we'll hear from you more often.
