The $175 Razor: A Sign of Economic Recovery in Retail?
« on: January 06, 2010, 07:37:46 AM »
This is nothing new.  Art of Shaving has had high end razors since I've known of them, but the article is interesting.  At the Art of Shaving boutique at Macy's here in Chicago there is a young Sly dude that always has an impeccible head shave.

BTW, the Art of Shaving Fusion is nothing like the plain Gillette Fusion illustrated in the article.  It is really something to behold.

Jesse James used a gun! :D

I get fine service from my M5 and HS, w/ Shave Secret.  I'm out to impress myself with comfort and a long lasting smooth & shiny dome.  Can anyone explain to me why I should pay more if I'm accomplishing that for a yearly cost far less than the outrageous prices they're asking????

I shy away from cars whose makers are in or near bankruptcy.  The good ones in that category, Packard, Stutz Bearcat, etc. are too expensive and I don't want to wind up with and Edsel. :D

Mine originally cost $150, but you can pay up to $1k, which is ridiculous....kinda like a $175 razor.  :*))

It's worth it because it makes your drives go right down the middle of the fairway every time.

Driver?
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.
