That's what I did. When the family asked me why I did it, I asked them if they would put up with an annoying friend who just embarrassed you, didn't listen to a thing you said, and pretty much just sat around the house all day.
Yep. I got laughs, and they understood.

Many years ago I was at the same spot you are currently in
I learned the hard way through hairpieces, lotions and surgical means
It's just not worth the expense and mind games that it plays on you
It's called FRREDOM and you must have it to really enjoy stuff
My recommendation is go slow and get the #1, prepare the family and friends and GO FOR IT
You will be glad you did and so will the women
