New to Sly Bald Guys
«

I have been shaving my head for approximately 6 years and I live in the Boston area.
I just bought the the M5 Razor and I found it gives a close shave but was wondering about the trimmer on the back of the blade.I can't get it to work right--do you have to hold it at a certain angle ?
THANKS!!!!!

Welcome Fredym to SBG! It's good that you found us.
Unfortunately I can't help you with the M5 but I'm sure the M5-owners will give you all the information you need in a short time.
There has been talk of a new, more secure layout of the trimmer. Perhaps it is too safe now? ;-)

Welcome.
On the M5, the trimmer is a little tricky, much more so than the Fusion. Careful, I've nicked my ear w/ that blade though. Someone mentioned that Personna is reworking the design on the blades, I don't know any more than that.

Try holding the razor at a 90 degree angle from your head and try that.

Welcome to the forum, Fredym! Good to have you here.
Yep. That M5 trimmer requires some careful manipulation to say the least. You gotta experiment (very, very carefully
) with the angle you hold the blade at. As Rick pointed out, it will probably be around 90 degrees or so.

Welcome to SBG! I also found that a 90 degree angle works best.
