Greetings from Brazil
« on: March 12, 2007, 03:49:05 PM »
Hi gents,

So, i'm Gabriel, 25 years old, computer geek and rock climber from Brazil. I just discovered you yesterday late at night, and i woke up with a new thing in mind: i'm gonna shave today! So i did it!  O:O  I kinda bypassed that stage of doubt " should i shave or should not?" and now i just steped a problem! Should i keep this new look or not? as you can see, the "front" view of my brand-new sly scalp is quite okay, BUT, from the side, i look like a hybrid of a monkey and an ancient guy from Egypt...   ;D  so, i ask you... should i keep this or not?   Be honest!! ( i'm okay with critics! )

Thanks in advance, and nice to be part of this brotherhood,  O0

Gab

ps: that broken nose comes from a life of serious martial arts studies.. now i'm on Krav Magá..

Gab,

Welcome to Sly Bald Guys!!  Keep it - it looks really good!  I'm sure the benefits in Martial Arts will be worth it alone.

O0 Ahoy, Mazenga/Gabriel. You've stumbled on the right site; hope you stay and that we can get to know you. The bald look is PERFECT for you: don't let it grow back! Sly complements your facial features and, if you're still in the martial arts, it provides a distinct advantage. Glad you bypassed the agonized decision-making phase,.Welcome aboard, Professor Melon

Hey Gabriel, welcome to SBG. We are glad you found us, I agree with Tyler, I think you should keep youe new sly look. Like other people on this site have said before, you're probably the only one that will notice, what you described as " looking like a hybrid of a monkey and an ancient guy from egypt" Nobody else will notice.

It would be a tragedy to ever allow hair to grow upon your head again.  The look suits you.

If you're in martial arts, nothing looks tougher or more intimidatig than a guy with a bald head. You already know he's serious and strictly about business...

By the way I have to say I love Brazil.  Me and my boys went 4 times last year alone.  We call it 'Bizarro World' because it's such a great time compared to our regular lives here in the States.  If any of you sly guys haven't been I highly recommend you visit before you get married and/or die.  (some might say it's the same thing- not me of course)

Las gatinhas estan muito gostosas- Tudo bem!

No problem Gab, you certainly are not the first person to tell me I'm funny. However, I say looks aren't everything. Have a good day, and I look forward to more of your posts.
