G'day fella's
« on: November 16, 2009, 12:07:56 AM »
G'day fellas.

How are you all today?   I thought a quick introduction was in order.   Currently living in Australia. I'm 26 years old, a file manager for one of Australia's major banks.  I'm not shaven bald (yet). It's somethin' i'm about to do. My partner isn't overly enthusiastic about it.  I've had pretty short buzz cut hair cut for a long time now & want to take it one further step.

If you've got any questions, fire them away!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum, PowerBuilder. If you're already sporting the buzz cut, then you're almost home, mate. It took me a while to take that final step from a #1 cut to fully shaved. I'm now sorry I waited so long. You're gonna love it. (As will your partner!)  8)

thanks for the warm welcome fella's.   I hale from Tasmania.

it's pretty weird, i've had a number 1 buzz cut for so long now & when i talk to friends &/or family about going shorter they give me a reaction of 'oh god....what are you thinking of'. I think i'll do it & let them get use to it. after all, it'll grow back. it's not like i'm getting a tatoo!!

i think i'm goin to learn to love this place. I'm really attracted to the concept of men who are actually proud of hair loss (that's the perception i get from you guys anyways)

Welcome here, PowerBuilder!

You can read in many threads: Nearly nobody will see the difference between 1 buzz and shaved. But YOU will feel the difference and WOW it's great and wonderful.... and if you do not like it, it will grow back.
Give it a try. Best wishes! And keep in mind the numbness of the first days.

Welcome to Sly Bald Guys!!  Don't worry about your friends and family, they'll come around once they see it.  It's just hard for them to imaging.
