Hey folks,

I was wondering what kind of music you bald guys listen to.

I for one enjoy Jazz music - Joshua Redman and Yellowjackets being my current favourites -, classical (baroque), 80s music, such as The Smiths, Depeche Mode etc., and Cuban.
I also like The Doors and The Beatles.

Sometimes, if I'm in the right mood (and providing all windows are closed) I also put on an old Jackson 5 record. ;D

All right, over to you...

Harry, ever listen to the Rippingtons??? Best "new age" jazz going.

I mainly like Rock music, but also blend in some rap/hip hop, country and pop music.

I like disturbed, korn, papa roach, godsmack, metallica, tupac, garth brooks/brooks and dunn etc.   Just to show you the variety of my music taste.

So, a Baldapalooza with Molly Hatchet, Metallica, Yellowman, and Rage Against The Machine (with Tippy the Turtle art classes) fits the bill.

trying to think of acts that are still alive. I've heard I should give Godsmack a run. With the exception of rap and opera, I'm pretty much open to most music.

Shoot, I had CMT on the boob tube last night...and I liked it. Some guy had a song called the "redneck yacht club" and I loved it. Before that, there was a song by Lonestar from their greatest hits CD that I really liked.

Damn, I'm getting old.

Heck, we should burn cd's for each other....unless someone would have copyright infringement issues with it. Burn a cd, slap a little postage on it. Sure beats $14 per CD.

Thoughts???

most of the newer country sounds the same. crappy. to much of a pop influence. some of the new stuff is cool tho. i tend to like the guys that have been around awhile and are in the position to make the decisions about what they put out. newbies seem to be controlled by the producers because they are trying to make it.

Although I have an untrained ear when it comes to country, I would tend to agree.

Paul, I assume you have Buffett's License to Chill CD.
