Best Technique/Process for Daily Shaving?

I've only been shaving every 3 or 4 days to prevent irritation.. but perhaps I'm going about it all wrong. I have the appearance once the hair starts growing back in. I would LOVE to shave daily and be sly 24/7.
Currently i'm using a Fusion with shave gel, and shaving with the grain, then a second time against the grain. Then I jump in the shower.
What do you guys suggest I change to shave daily and prevent irritation?

I shave every day and use shaving oil to help with irritation then finish it off with Bald Guyz gel. Seems to work well
for me.

Hey Mate-
Your best bet is to flip your routine. More specifically, take a nice long, very hot shower during which you periodically apply a hot wash cloth to your head for a little bit. Then shave at the end of the shower- either in the shower or outside. Either case, lather your head and face and shave your face first- allowing the shaving cream/gel to further soften the hair..
This routine will give you the softest, easiest to shave hair. The blade will glide and go through the growth like a hot knife through butter. No drag and fewer to no cuts or nicks because you do not have to keep going over and over the same area. If you then finish with a good after shave product that moisturizes and smooths, you should be able to shave everyday without issue.
Hope this helps.

Our good Bro Warhawk posted up a great daily routine that I follow and has worked well for me for nearly 2 years.

Welcome to the Forum Data! Check out the shaving routine threads..... you will find a lot of good tips. Also, there may be some trial and error to find what works best for you. I had a routine for almost two years and then had to change it because i was getting a lot of shave bumps. It took me about a month to figure out the problem and alter my routine.

Bottom line is whatever works for you to get your pate smooth. Like the lads say, there are a lot of different ways to do it.

Thanks guys.. much appreciated.
Today is day two of "Project Daily", using the tips above. After the shave tonight, no irritation, no burn, no bumps, no redness. Works very well thus far!
Here is what I'm doing..
1. Hot shower. Exfoliate face and head with Clean and Clear 3-in-1 exfoliater.. Good stuff. Minty!
2. Hop out, and fire up the sink to hottest temp.. I used Fusion's Shave Gel for sensitive skin.. Lather up face and head.
3. Shave face with Fusion..
4. Start shaving head with Fusion, using extremely light pressure (more like gliding over skin) going with the grain all the way around.
5. Shave again going against the grain in same fashion.. feel for missed spots..
6. Wash face and head with coldest water.
7. Pat dry.
8. Lotion up head and face with Neutrogena 3-n-1 Head Lotion (after shave and SPF20)
Thus far, its been an hour and everything feels great. So happy... HATED not shaving daily.

Tried the "Shave Secret" product from walmart tonight.. worked very well. Very interesting shave, but mess free.. and cheaper.
Will continue to experiment.
