You ever have this happen in or around your hometown?
« on: November 07, 2009, 06:51:20 AM »
Crazy things can happen.  Sometimes there are no explainations on why it happens or what would drive someone to go that far, but it happens.

This morning in our local paper..."Area Man looked at in Cold Case"....hmmm now what?

It seems as this man, 14 years ago killed another guy because he stole his guns from him.  After he killed the thief ( suspect) he buried him in his back yard.  He was buried underneath a concrete pad.   The concrete pad is 18-20 inches thick and under about  2 feet of soil and pea gravel.

upon searching this guys home, they found 4 inch PVC pipe in the rafters of his basement ceiling that goes thru the foundation wall out into the area where the concrete pad is located.  First it was believed maybe the guy was buried alive and these pipes were used to provide air.  Upon further investigation, these pipes were packed with enough explosives to blow up an entire block.  He had intentions of just blowing it all up.  So anyways...this 14 year saga is about to come to a close..

I grew up in Baltimore citry and was a paper boy for aboout three or four years. I saw and expoerienced things as a paper boy that no kid should EVER see. The worst:

I saw a man that was obviously mentally disturbed running in the middle of the street with nothing but a T-Shirt on. When I came back down the street the City Police had arrived and were in the process of arresting the guy when he grabbed one of the officers pistols. He shot and killed the one officer and an apartment complex maintenance worker. He was looking for the other cop to shoot when the cop grabbed the shotgun out of the trunk and literally blew the guys face off..... it landed in the bushes a few feet away.

I was hiding behind a tree about 40 feet away watching the whole thing...... ran like Hell as soon as the cop blew the guys face off.

If my parents knew what I saw and had to deal with as a paper boy they would never have let me continue doing it.
I saw and dealt with things that most people don't see or deal with in their life times.

When I was younger I lived in this massive split farmhouse [one house, two dwellings] anyway I went out for a bike ride down the creek and coming home around dusk there was about 10 police cars, vans and all manner of cops buzzing around like ants on a hive. Turns out the previous owner was recently convicted of selling and distributing dope and guns. They searched the place but found nothing. It was pretty intense for a 8 year old.

When I was a manager one of my cashiers was telling me about her cell mate at the womens penn. I guess this women killed her husband, chopped him up and fed him to the pigs. Only reason she got caught was the pigs ate everything but one ear.
