I didnt believe it but I read it anyways. What I do believe is that, The world could end before I even finish this sentence and hit the post button.
Only thing, it would sure solve everyone's 401K problems.
Our existence here on mother earth is effed anyway, we've made damn sure of that it may not happen on 2012 but it will happen.
Mike this is a subject that has interested me so here are my own "opinions" on this subject. Being from a traditional Christian background I have heard for years about "the end", "the rapture", Armageddon and so forth. It was not until later in life that I ever heard about the alleged impending 2012 event. It is interesting to note that many traditions around the world point to what would be more appropriately called a "change", not necessarily an "end" as in a finality with no further existence. I think one of the best teachers I have heard on this subject is Greg Braden. If interested you can google his website. I think sooner or later changes will come to the planet. Some will perceive them to be devastating and frankly it would be arrogant of us as humans to think world wide disasters could not happen. We have already seen them happen on small scales just in the last decade and I think they could happen more broadly. The thing is people get so wrapped up in worrying about things like this, they stop living their lives in a positive way. If it's going to happen..it's going to happen so why worry about it. I think it's far more important for us as individuals and collectively to live in the "now", be kind to each other and do the best we can each day. Some schools of thought say Dec. 21, 2012 will not be the large scale disasters people think it will be but the beginning of a large scale evolvement in human consciousness. I think that would be great. Whatever happens will take place but I am still planning on getting up on Dec. 22 of that year and having my omelette and coffee.

I say we meet half way between Gettysburg and Myrtle Beach on December 21st 2012 and have that omelet and coffee together. We can raise our cups to the continuance of life!!!
