Hi folks. I found this website, and it seemed like a really nice/supportive community so I figured I'd join. I'm a 20 year old guy from Portland OR currently attending the University of Oregon.
Anyway, I've always had an uneven widows peak and now the front of my hair is thinning fast. I'm currently trying to work up the courage to shave my head to finally resolve this stressful issue once and for all.

Welcome Eon. If you are looking for support to go sly....you're in the right place. There are plenty of wonderful guys on here to guide you towards that sly freedom.

Welcome, Eon. As a 20-year-old college student, your circumstances are ideal to try a change in appearance. You can get away with almost anything without too much harsh criticism from others. I know it can be scary to take the plunge, but the relief you feel immediately afterwards is well worth it. Look at it as a gateway to adulthood. It's liberating in a lot of ways, not only because it will improve your appearance, but because you're taking a stand and doing something because YOU want to do it, instead of doing what someone else wants.

Hello, Eon. Good to have you aboard. Listen to the other guys as they do give good advise. I have been Sly for over a year now. Can't tell you how good it feels. Not a worry above the eyebrows. I am free at last!

It took me a few months on this site before I got up the nerve. I wished I had done it sooner now. Shave that thing and ask questions later is my advice.
Welcome!

Welcome to SBG's Eon, you've definitely come to the right place for positive encouragement.
Give shaving a try and I'm sure you will be happy, if not then you can grow it back. I'm willing to bet you'll love it though.
Keep us posted on your progress.

Welcome to the Forum Eon! Trim it shorter and shorter every week until you get to the point that you can shave it.

Welcome Eon. Reading your post introduction and the responses from the guys, I got a mental image of you standing on the diving board with all your buddies already in the pool. You've been there, and you will get a rush far more memorable once you take it to the skin and keep it there 30 days. The freedom, the rush when you have rinsed your newly smooth scalp and finish drying it and the towel comes away--a great rush, freedom, self questioning, "Why did I wait so long!", its all true, and all you have to do is spend 10 minutes or so after buzzing it at 0. Come on in, the water's fine.

Welcome Eon. There's a ton of good advice here. Read through some of the posts and by all means ask questions.

Many of us have been where you're at. Again welcome to the site.

Welcome Eon! Like everyone is saying...just do it! You can always grow it back if you really wanted...doubt you will! You will see!

Hello Eon. I've been there, except that I loved my widow's peak, the masochist that I sometimes am.
