Bright eyed and bushytailed...
« on: October 12, 2009, 07:11:03 AM »
Its monday..whoooppee!

How was everyones weekend?  Had a busy one here.  We moved our laundry room from the basement to the main level.  So much easier, Kris is amazed at how much laundry she got done over the weekend lol.

Funny thing, it was Saturday night at about 10pm and we are both in the basement and we are detailing the washing machine.  It has sorta been neglected as it has been down in the basement.  We werent taking it upstairs looking like that.  Kris made the comment...Nothing like a Saturday night when the kids are all gone and here we are detailing the washing machine....LOL

Had a great weekend.  Went out for a pre-birthday celebration.  Had a great meal at Longhorn Steakhouse then saw Jerry Seinfeld.

Sunday, we braved the chilly weather and went out for a nature walk with bunch of friends in one of the suburban forest preserves.

My weekend was good actually. I finished building and painting a cabinet for my cats (ill put up a different thread about that to explain and share)and we had a party for my wife's birthday saturday. It was a "Vintage Cocktail Party" theme, and we had all kinds of food and drinks and good people. Then sunday we lounged around and watched Marley and Me, then went to my partents for roast beef, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and field peas. (im feeling a bit round today.... haha)

now onward through another week of "how do you turn the computer on again?" and "i cleaned my computer out in the sink and now it wont come on."

Nice weekend.  Went to a party Friday night, relaxed all of Saturday, and started preparing for winter on Sunday.  Got the snowblower ready to go and winterized my irrigation system.  Bring on the snow ....

At home in NO, wife & I celebrated a late 35th wedding anniversary w/ friends at one of the many fine restaurants in the city, my wife was in their wedding, she in ours.  Great food, wine and company--very pleasant.

Well my son ran a 103 temperature all day Saturday and thru the night until it broke yesterday AM. The Mrs. and I had to cancel our date night Saturday night because he was so sick.

Didi some yard work yesterday and washed my stinky little Boston Terrier.

My daughter turned 2 this weekend so we had a little party for her.  It was fun.
