Tonight I was on Beards.org.  I have not been there in a long time.  But if you are not familiar with it, it is a site that promotes the growing of beards and other facial hair.  I actually have 3 pics posted there.  I also discovered that our own Bald Bear has some of his pics there too.  So I am wondering if any of our other Sly members have pics there too?  Anyway, I have seen a lot of sly guys on the site already, just not the members of this site except for Bald Bear and myself.  So if you want to see my pics, go to the Galleries section and go to "Beards of the world".  Then go to "North America, United States and Washington.  For Bald Bear and follow the previous instruction and then look for California instead of Washington.!

Thanks for reminding me of this very interesting site, Marsh.  As a long time beard wearer myself, some of these excellent beards make me envious.

If you browse diligently you'll find some other Sly Bald Guys as well.

I think I had my best beard when I was in my thirties.  I'll try to find some old pics.

Made me laugh! I didn't know there was such a site! I had to check it out a minute ago. What can I say, it's hairy.

I have a goatee but it's not easy to maintain so I'm thinking about going back to a soul patch, not sure though if it counts as a beard ... :)

It's a good source of information on how to grow a beard.  It leans heavily to full beards, but there are some good examples of goats to review if you're thinking of doing some facial hair.

Back then when East Germany was a state of its own (GDR) we didn't have anything not even beards!  :'(
Except for Walter Ulbricht, but he was the head of state.

I've been all over the map.  Full, bushy beard, goat and mustache (as at present), goat alone, mustache alone, slick all over (including the brows) and can only say that I wish I had more follicles below the ears than I do.  Oh, I guess it looks OK--from a reasonable distance--but "nice 'n' thick" is beyond my genes' abilities.

That said, I guess I'd say I can "live with" what I've got.  Have to, actually.  There's no (Thank, God!) "Beard Club for Men."  Or is there?  No, don't tell me.
