I don't know about you guys, but i love video games. I've been playing them since i was a kid, my father got me into them; if he wasn't reading, he was playing a game.
Are there other guys on here that enjoy them?
I currently own:
Sega Genesis
Sega Nomad (if you haven't heard of this, it's basically a hand held genesis!)
Sega Dreamcast
Playstation 1
Original Gameboy
Gamecube with Gameboy Player so i can play all my gameboy games on the big screen
Nintendo DS
Xbox 360
There are more consoles i plan to get down the road. They are a passion of mine, couldn't really tell you why except that they are fun. I'm curious if there are any other gamers here and what your favorite console is/ was and favorite games.

I have a PS3, but I use it mostly for the Blu-ray feature...
I was never big on console gaming though, even though I've had my share of Nintendos over the years. When it came to gaming, I stuck with the computer...
Unreal Tournament, Ultima Online, Anarchy Online were the big ones for me...

Always preferred computer games, esp. RTS and FPS like CNC or Battlefield II. I prefer playing against someone else rather than trying to beat a program. Quit playing after the PS2/Xbox came out. Picked it up again in the last 6 months because I'm finished with school. Currently playing EVE Online and Prototype (for PC).

Video games where a big part of my life growing up and I sorta parted ways with it. If I could have one system again it would be the SNES, Final Fantasy 3, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Ogre Battle, Shadowrun and Super Metroid where my all time favorites. I'm thinking of picking up a wii because the virtual console let's you purchase classic games and play them on the wii.
I enjoyed the PS1 and really liked the PS2, I like the Socom series and Conflict desert storm. I have alot of friends in the video game industry, one of my best friends who was one of the lead programmer with Capcom for years has ties with the big companies like Blizzard,EA,UBI soft and ID. I absolutely love Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 and If I want to borrow and XBOX 360 or PS3 i just give him a ring. Right Now I'm an absolute nutjob for a game called "Castle Crashers" for the 360, you can pick up for 1200 xbox points ( like 9 bucks ) and its the best game I've played in a long time.

The original Unreal Tournament was really cool. I also liked Call of Duty 2 but only on the PC. I have a PS3 but also use it mostly for the blu ray and to view pictures on the big screen. The only game I own is madden football but since I got it(about a month ago) I think Ive played like 2 hours total with some guys I know in person. It is wayyy fun...its jjust makng time to play.

I have a DS-Lite and a Wii. Right now I am hooked on Metroid Prime Trilogy. I thought the first two games were great on the Gamecube, but now that they've been modified for the Wii I'm blown away once again. Anyone who has a Wii, whines about the abundance of party games, but does not own this title does not have a right to complain.

I have a ps2 and psp. I miss my old Genesis but it died on me. I've found some of the games on ps2. I used to want a Sega Nomad badly but they were kinda hard to find around here anyway.

I currently own Ps2, Ps3, Xbox360, Xbox, and yesterday I was able to find my Sega Genesis from about a decade ago, my face lit up like a spot light when I found that thing.

I'm another pc-based FPS freak; duke nukem, the original doom and hexen heretic got me started. I've got a pretty lengthy career with Quake all the way through Quake 4 and still dable with it on Quake Live.

Only have the Wii and get a kick out of it.
That being said, if we didn't have kids, I don't think I'd get into it.
Not knocking it, just not gotten into it.

I got lucky and found the Nomad at a used game shop, even still had the protective film over the screen from when it was new. Definitely paid out the *** for it, but worth it. If you ever get a 360 or PS3, there a disc called sonics ultimate genesis collection that has 40+ games on it, great deal for 30 bucks.
Currently the games i'm hooked on are Fallout 3, Grid, and Lego Star Wars for 360, and GTA Chinatown wars on the ds.

I went to gamestop the other day and bought a disc for my psp that had 14 sega genesis era games on it. Road Rash 1,2 & 3, Desert Strike, Jungle strike. Were some of them. It was only $5.99 used. Funny how we have this new technology and still like the games we played 15 years ago.
