I drank Yuengling's Black & Tan almost exclusively when I went back to visit my brother in law in Maryland back in 2007. That's a GREAT beer.

Yuengling is the oldest American brewery in is located in my great state of Pennsylvania.... just a couple of hours up the road from me.
Click here for more info..........   http://www.yuengling.com/index.htm

By the way..... the Black and Tan (though not a true B&T) is awesome and the Porter is just as good. If you can get them on tap......that's great beer!

If you go to World Market, they sometimes have a brazilian black beer called Xingu (sheen-goo). Its really good.

But its not good at all with Cheez-its. Im just sayin'.

This one is quite local to me (less than ten miles off), and the beer is perfectly acceptable, but it does not really stand out from the crowd of other beers of the same type.  It is, however, a rival to Sam Adams, and goes for about the same price:

The site comes with annoying sound added, but you can turn the speaker off.

Alas, I can't even enjoy any beer at the moment, having had a tooth extracted (first one since childhood) and the doc says, "Nothing carbonated" for at least two days (disturbs the clotting).  But apparently wine is OK, so I've some cabernet-shiraz (Australian) that will have to serve.

My favorite beer of all time, Shiner Bock, is right down the road from me in Shiner, TX.

Mentioned before was Firemans 4 which is good

i think there was another place in austin called Uncle billys or willys or something that had a great agave wheat beer that my friend said was just incredible.

Yeungling is good.  we recently started getting it down here in the south.  I love it.

Dog Fish Head is pretty good.  Has a real rich taste.

I hear a lot about Dog Fish Head, though when I tried it I wasn't impressed at all.
