We should not judge many by the actions of a few.
Keeping with the spirit of the OP, let's remember the legacy of those who died on that terrible day ... the heroic NYFD, those in The Pentagon, the Todd Beemer's ...

Absolutely agree with what Pruitt said. Let's not allow this thread to wander astray and lose its original meaning. No matter what you think about the people who did this or what they believe, never forget about the heroes who lost their lives trying to save our fellow coutrymen. Don't forget either about the innocent lives lost and families that will never be the same.

Last year I visited the crash site in Shanksville, Pa. while on a motorcycle trip. It was a moving experience that brought some of the toughest guys I know to the verge of tears, myself included.
That visit, to what at the time was nothing more than a field, changed my attitudes about a lot of things.
Thank you to those around the world that remember us on this solemn day.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Please remember and say a prayer for all who died on the tragic Tuesday morning eleven years ago. It was a gorgeous morning in the New York City area - the first beautiful fall-like day. None of us expected such a beautiful day to turn so horrific so quickly...

I remember EXACTLY where I was because I was INSIDE the World Trade Center on the morning of September 10th. Let me back up a bit...
I flew into NY on the 7th, and was fortunate enough to be there hanging out with Michael Jackson (one of my very close friends was VERY close to him). We had a great few days. Wild shopping trips where they closed the stores down so MJ could shop, crazy experiences having dinner and just hanging with him, etc. He was in NYC to do two concerts. We all hung out back stage with everyone and had VIP seating as well. It was a great time. I even got to play the piano for him at the soundcheck while he sang. On the morning on Sept 10th, a few of the guys wanted to see the WTC. Being a native NYer, I was a little reluctant to go into "tourist" mode...but I tagged along anyway. We were inside building 1 for a few hours the morning of the 10th, and I flew home later that afternoon. I woke up to the news of the tragedy. It freaked me out a bit knowing that I was inside building 1 less than 24hours before it happened. Guess it just wasn't my time.
