Exfoliant from Bath and Body works
« on: September 09, 2009, 01:40:24 PM »
I tried the C.O. Bigelow collection from Bath and Body Works.  Specifically the Mentha Body soothing Body Scrub.  This stuff is awesome!!  It is the most "gritty" exfoliant I've used yet.  Almost like oatmeal + sand, but as soon as you start to work it in, it breaks down to this very rich and creamy lather.  And, it has real peppermint extract so it has a very cool tingly feel after you use it.  I follow up with the vitamin body wash from the same line and it also has the peppermint tinglies.  I'm always on the prowl for something new to try so I thought I would pass this along to the SBG's.  Plus, it was also on sale for 2/$20, not a bad price for this stuff, it's normally $12 and $14 each.  Worth giving it a try!!    O0

Thanks for the tip.  I've been using Nutragena (sp?) face scrub and it works pretty well.  I tried the Headblade cleanser and I felt like I took a power sander to my head.  I may give the Bath and Body works stuff a try when my current stuff runs out.  I have been using that C.O. Bigelow after shave lotion for my face for a while and really like it.

I had tried the Nivea for men facial scrub, pretty good stuff.  I also tried a body scrub from Axe.  Smelled great, not bad for the scrubbing either.  Like I said before, always out to try something new.  I tend to get bored with stuff after a while and need a change!
