Head Wash By HeadBlade.
« on: September 08, 2009, 04:37:08 PM »
I had ordered trial sizes of the HeadBlade slick, lotion, and the shed.,, I used all three products and I loved them, The headblade I am still experimenting with different blades, yada yada.. Well I ended up and ordered the 8oz of the SLick, SPF lotion, and HeadWash.

The thing is I loved the headwash.. It was great.. I would use it in the morning and when I got to work and I would have welps on my hands ranging from dime size to half dollar size.. Not my entire head, maybe a few spots, but my hands would itch and burn.. I would squeeze out about a quater size on my hand. I would lather it up and apply it on my head.. Weird.. I am really bummed cause I like the smell and I like the way it makes my head feel.. I just have some sort of allergy to it..

Guess I will have to find another soap for the dome..

Anyone know of anything close to the HeadWash? I am going to miss using it..

Are you allergic to any other products that have parabens in them? There are many people who are allergic, I for one would like them removed from the HB products.

I am not sure that I am.. I am not sure that I am not either.. I agree.. Its too bad that when you find a product out there that you just love, and it turns out that you cannot use it.. I might send it back to headblade.. I have had this less than thirty days..

Actually I thought you were talking about the other Headblade products there (my bad) I don't know if Headwash has parabens in them, but it would be good to check. If you are concerned about possible allergies you could talk to a doctor and have a scratch test done.

I have been using the St. Ives Apricot Scrub for a few days and it works wonders.  There are a variety of different ones.  The one i have used is blackhead control because I have been having issues on my face.  I use it to scrub everything above the shoulders at the start of my shower.  And it really softens up the stubble.  YMMV
